Good Days Defined

The calendar portion of the planning guide shows you a day at a glance. You can
easily identify which days are best to support your project or take action. Since some
days favor certain activities over others, suggestions are given as to the best use of
the specified time. The Moon is the most important indicator in electional astrology
and when she is moving with ease the likelihood of success is enhanced. Each day
will fall into one of the following categories:

Best Day
A best day occurs rarely and is given this assessment
when planetary alignments are favorable and the Moon
in relation to the planets is especially harmonious.
Good Day
On a good day you are likely to succeed because the
Moon’s overall aspects are positive and her final aspect is favorable
indicating a good outcome. This is not to say there won’t be challenges
along the way.
Challenging Day
A challenging day means that you are likely to run into
difficulties that obstruct your ability to succeed; you
may still succeed but it may require great effort. The
end result is often unsatisfactory.
Variable Day
A variable day refers to a changing environment in
which the outcome is unpredictable. Indecision can be
a factor. Someone you were depending upon may be
unavailable. If you are able to circumvent the likely
interruptions it is possible to succeed.
Neutral Day
Neutral refers to a day that lacks sufficient energy to
get something going. This assessment is often given
when the Moon is void-of-course. It may also be given
when there are few major aspects on any given day. As
a result there is little momentum so nothing much
happens.
Mixed Day
On a mixed day two different influences are in effect
because the Moon is void during part of the day before
she changes signs. Refer to Moon void note for the best use of this
time.
